3 Protocols of the Day

1st Protocol = slave will not speak unless spoken to. If slave wishes to speak, permission will be asked to speak first. All sentences addressed to Master, will be started with "Master" and end with "Master". slave will not say me, my, mine, or i. slave will say: "Master, o wishes permission to speak please Master.", or "Master, o begs permission to leave the room Master." If Master is in a room that the slave wishes to enter, the slave will kneel in the doorway, in karta, and say, "Master, o begs permission to enter the room Master."

If slave is in a room and Master enters, slave will immediately drop to her knees, lower her eyes and be silent.

slave is not to sit on furniture, slave is not to eat at same table with Master, but at His feet, and Master will feed slave from His plate. slave will walk 3 paces behind and to the left of Master at all times. slave is to ask permission to eat, drink, use the bathroom, leaving door open, unless Master says otherwise. slave is to be very observant not waiting for Master to request a drink or food, but bring it too Him if His glass gets past the half-way mark.

2nd Protocol = is a little more relaxed. slave will end each sentence with Master, but not preface with Master, unless she needs Him for something and must call out to Him. slave does not have to say her name, she can use me, my, mine and i. slave must still ask permission to leave the room if Master is present. If Master is in a room that slave is wishing to enter, she will kneel at the doorway, and await Master's permission to enter, but she does not have to ask for permission, but wait until Master notices that she is there. If slave is in a room and Master enters, slave will stop what she is doing, remain still, lower her eyes and await Master's permission to go on about her business. slave will not use the furniture unless Master specifically says she may. slave will not eat at the same table with Master, unless He invites her to do so.

slave will stand behind chair until Master is seated and tells her she may sit. slave will not begin eating, until Master says, "you may eat." slave will be vigilant in seeing to Master's needs and observe if his drink reaches the half-way mark and immediately fill it.

In 1st and 2nd protocol, if slave is standing and Master is sitting down, this is the only time slaves head can be above Masters, but her stance must be humble, eyes lowered and hands behind back, left over right, in a military at ease position.

3rd Protocol = slave will still end each sentence with Master, or if a term of endearment is allowed, she may use this, such as "babe, "honey, or whatever is agreed upon by Master. Respectful tone is to be maintained at all time unless Master says there is "free time" for a certain limited time. Then a playful tone can be used with Master, but still always respectful. Laughter and kidding is encouraged by Master and a certain amount of freedom is allowed for playful banter, or even wrestling, etc...

slave is allowed use of furniture, unless otherwise stated by Master. slave may eat with Master at the table, but still observes the rules for sitting and eating with Master's permission. If Master is in a room that the slave wishes to enter, slave is to stand at door, hands behind back, left over right, and wait until Master notices her, and nods to her. she will know that this nod means she may enter the room. If Master enters a room that slave is in, slave is to run to Him and kiss him, and then stand quietly until Master begins a dialogue with her. slave may even play little practical jokes on Master, and tease Him, for this is all part of the dance of BDSM. slave may walk by Master's side, holding His hand, or arm, unless he states otherwise.

3rd Protocol is the time for "bitch" session, gripes, complaints, play and general quality time with loose discipline, but a tone of respect always is to be used by the slave.

General Rules: once a week slave should be allowed totally free time for an allotted amount of time, to just interact as man and woman, lover and lover, human to human. Master should give slave a way to vent... be it taking her to the shooting range, etc... allowing her to blow off steam. This should be a time for going on a "date"... movies, out to dinner, whatever the couple enjoys.

There should be also a certain amount of time allotted for training in specific things, such as serves, position, protocols, etiquettes, and serving the way Master wants.

Common courtesy, above anything else, should be observed. There should also be time for slave, if she cannot bring herself to speak to Master about her needs, or her slave heart, for her to be able to leave notes on His pillow, or the mirror, etc....

slave should keep some sort of journal, and if slave is not living with the Master who owns her, then some sort of scheduling should be done according to Master's needs and slaves schedule.

These Protocols have come down through the ranks of Roissy, Old Guard, Victorian and Gorean. The Oriental modularity of BDSM is different.

All slaves should be taught to handle whips, floggers,... etc.. with respect and honor. Anything presented to Master should always be given with an open hand. slave should never just grab a piece of Master's equipment and close her fist around it. All slaves should know how to cook, clean, at least play one musical instrument for Master's pleasure, and how to spit shine Master's boots, and tend to His clothing. If it is slave's job to lay out Master's clothing, everything should be laid out dress right dress, with the edge of each piece of clothing, folded at the right edge, even socks, making it easy for Master to grab.

slaves should be taught how to give a massage, how to warm towels for Master, after His bath or shower, and how to tend to Him from head to foot, if this is what He desires.

All slaves should be required to read BDSM/Leather material.
