Pushing The Limits

At some point just about every Dominate needs to push the limits of their submissive. This can be a difficult and challenging task to say the least. You don't want to risk
injuring your sub physically or emotionally but you also want to see them reach their true potential as a submissive. As every sub is different, there is no set way at
helping them achieve your goals or know when you push too far. Although I can't pretend to tell you the signs to look for or how far to push at first, I can give you
direction in how to go about achieving those challenging goals.
The first and most important thing, communicate with your submissive! Make sure you get out of them what you need to know. This is probably the most important. Don't
let them get away with simple answers. Question them, really listen to there responses. Watch there behavior. If it changes, find out why. Learn everything about your
submissive you can relating to what your goal is. Sometime past experiences can have a great affect on achieving their goals. Knowing your subs feelings and background
can be critical to the success of their training.
Set smaller steps to the main goal. Taking one step is much easier to grasp than going the whole mile. Sit and plan the steps that will be taken to achieve the final
goal. Don't rush your submissive through them. This will help them slowly adapt to their training along with giving them a feeling of success as they achieve each step.
Don't be afraid to take a step back or adjust the program if they have problems with a step. Some parts of the issue may be more difficult then others.
Try to find ways to associate the training with something that is pleasurable for the submissive. Difficult or scary tasks are hard enough as is. These factors can be
reduced when they are associated with things that are enjoyable. Find something that works in combinations with the task in hand. If you are doing anal training, sexually
stimulating your sub while your penetrating them anally can help them associate that with the sexual pleasure as an example.
Praise and punish your submissive. When you submissive succeeds at their task, make sure you praise them and tell them how proud you are. With alot of submissives this can
make a lot of difference as they draw pleasure just knowing that they have pleased you. It is also just normal human nature to want to know people are happy with what you
have done. In the same respect you want their failure to be associated with something they dislike. Punishment can be anything as long as its not something that your sub
truly desires. Make sure they are always punished when they don't succeed. Be understanding and learn from their reasons why they didn't but you also need to make sure
that when they don't succeed they will be punished.
If you see that despite trying everything your submissive can't work through an issue, You need to consider that perhaps the submissive has reached their limit and can't
progress any further in that area. This can happen and should not be looked upon as a failure but just as reaching their limit. They should still be punished for their
failure in the task but with understanding and communication. Make sure your praise them after training has finished so they know you are pleased that they did their best
for you. Since everybody is different no sub can be the same and some things that are easy for one sub are impossible for another.
That is about all there is to it. This is general as there are no real specifics for all situations. But these steps can be applied to almost all training done with a
submissive.
