A Queens pervert, charged yesterday with torturing and mutilating a woman for display on his sadomasochistic Web site, insisted that she agreed to be his sex slave.
Glenn Marcus, 52, is facing life in prison if convicted of the heinous acts he allegedly inflicted upon a woman when she tried to escape his sick world.
"In response, Marcus placed [the victim], naked, into a large clear plastic bag and choked her," FBI agent Austin Berglas stated in an affidavit. "Marcus
posted on the Web site pictures of [the woman] in the bag and pictures of him choking her."
Marcus, who was arrested yesterday at his Kew Gardens apartment, is also charged with bringing the woman to his parents' home in Long Island where she allegedly was
suspended naked from the basement ceiling, pierced with needles and sexually assaulted.
"I never involved myself with anything that didn't involve fully informed consent," the suspect said as he was led from the courtroom.
He appeared in Brooklyn Federal Court wearing a T-shirt, khaki shorts, black socks and ratty-looking sneakers.
Judge Roanne Mann arched her eyebrows as she read the shocking allegations in the eight-page affidavit.
His lawyer Millie Whalen argued there is nothing illegal about a "voluntary sadomasochistic relationship," and questioned why it took four years for the woman,
who has not been identified, to step forward.
The alleged crimes occurred between 1997 and 2001 when at least two women agreed to enter into a "dominance and submission relationship" with Marcus in which he
played the role of "master" and the women his "slaves," according to the affidavit.
While engaging in their kinky romps, the players are supposed to use a "safe word" to stop the action. But Marcus "did not respect the use of a safe
word," the affidavit alleges.
Marcus operated a pay Web site with graphic photos of bondage and torture.
